How do you know the path your own is your own?

How do you know it’s your path and not someone else’s…?

Your path feels right, aligned - but not always certain or predictable.

Because it’s uniquely yours. No one has walked it before you.

& Sometimes it’s scary.

That’s when faith carries you through the rough, overgrown, prickly parts.

Homeschooling has been a lot like that.

At first, I trie

d to recreate school… at home. because it was all I knew.

And some days… we both cried.

It felt like we were forcing ourselves onto someone else’s path.

Then Rhythm got sick, and our neat little “four subjects a day” routine fell apart.

We just rested, made art, and did life together.

Swollen eyes, fever, sore throat from hell and all.

And then something beautiful happened.

We started turning our art into bookmarks…

which turned into a website…

which turned into bookkeeping, taxes, video editing, graphic design, teamwork, patience, pivoting, troubleshooting tech—and SO much more.

We might not be doing four traditional subjects a day…

We’re doing more.

And we’re absolutely learning.

We also quit eating sugar because of the virus and suddenly focus, attention, and connection feel more deeply rooted.

Maybe life doesn’t disrupt your path…

Maybe it clears the debris off it.
